T-Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 4-5 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In T-Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league. T-Ball we attempt to make rosters of between 8 and 10 players. No live pitching is permitted in this division. Generally, the diamond used is a 60-foot diamond, but the league has the option to use a 50-foot diamond.

The Coach Pitch Baseball division is for players league age 6-7. Players will continue to learn hitting, baserunning, fielding and throwing techniques at this level. The ball will be pitched by a coach and will be the same type of ball used in tee-ball. Positions will be rotated equally and players will continue to bat through the full lineup. A stronger emphasis will be placed on playing by the rules to ready players for higher levels of ball.

The Minors division is for players age 8 through 11. Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A subdivisions are sometimes used to group kids of similar age, talent, and experience.

The Majors division is for players age 11 through 12, although skilled 10 year olds can be drafted into this level. Majors division players should demonstrate skill, leadership, and maturity while enhancing all skills development, rules knowledge and situational baseball play in a competitive environment. Managing style may or may not dictate equal playing time; however, minimum play rules will be followed. There will be an end of season tournament. The best players from the Major League can sign-up for the 11U / 12U All-Star Team for tournament play at the end of the regular season.

The Intermediate division is available for players league age 11 through 13, although it is primarily for 13 year olds. It expands playing opportunities and serves as a transition step, offering a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. This division prepares players to play at the Seniors division on 60/90 fields by allowing leadoffs, pickoffs, and balks. The division is managed by District 2 and structured through interleague play for a 12-game minimum regular season and end-of-season tournament. League age 11 players who play at the Intermediate level are still eligible to play on the U12 or U11 All-Star team on the 46/60 field. Likewise, league age 12 players who play at the Intermediate level are still eligible to play on the U12 All-Star team.

The Seniors division is for players age 13 through 16. Players should demonstrate skill, leadership and maturity while enhancing all skills, rules knowledge and situational baseball play in a competitive environment. At this level there may not be equal playing time; however, minimum play rules will be followed. A standard 90' baseball field is used for the first time at this level and the teams will travel throughout the Boise area to play interleague games.
